There was a positive trading performance at the local bourse  this  week  that   saw  its   weekly total turnovers  move up to Rwf 228,849,900 by the  end of the last day of the trading on  Friday  up from  last week’s trading that  realized Rwf 92,905,000.

Accordingly, the total turnover for this week was realized from 828,500 shares traded in 25 deals compared to the last week’s trading session which was recorded from 303,000 shares traded in 43 deals thus indicating a positive trading for the Rwanda Stock Exchange market.

On the other hand,  the Friday’s  trading  saw the  RSE share index (RSI) going down 0.79 points to close at 255.73 which was a result of BK share price which by end of trading  session  closed at Rwf280.

The total turnover for the day was Rwf532,000 from 1,900 BK shares traded in 1deal, compared to the yesterday’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf153, 647,500 from 558,500 BKshares traded in 4 deals.

The BK counter traded and closed at Rwf280, down compared to the last closing price whereas Bralirwa counter was quiet to close at Rwf445 constant compared to the yesterday’s closing price. On the other hand KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf185, Rwf1,200 and Rwf104 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 109,000 BK shares between Rwf260-270 and outstanding offers of 11,600 shares between Rwf280-295. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 449,900shares between Rwf443-455 and no outstanding bids.
