Rwanda national dialogue and her transformation is mutually reinforcing quantitatively and qualitatively. Annual Rwanda national dialogue has been the best and noblest in the traditions of our national development.
It has unflinchingly upheld moral and ethical values in national development ambitions beyond question. Rwanda national dialogue analysis and the resulting resolutions provide the basis for political decisions, actions and no alien calculations can taint it.
The outstanding and innovative Rwanda leadership and the citizens have worked out the Rwandan path to shape together the Rwanda we want. This creative approach of national dialogue creates common positions on concrete questions of policy, tactics, sharpened awareness and serious-critical evaluation.
Rwanda national dialogue self-analysis, introspection and renewal rightfully facilitated Rwanda’s struggle for social and economic progress. The national dialogue consensus that the real liberation of our masses depends on large investments in science and technology in spheres of industrial production, agriculture, education, health, power is critical to prosperity.
This is made possible because Rwanda leadership enjoys the confidence of the masses due to the leadership objective rational approach to problems, without compromising on principles and values. National dialogue democratic debates and mutual understanding among Rwandans and their partners are indispensable for consciously becoming participants in shaping their survival and destinies.
Rwanda has never lost sight of her unshakable faith in home grown solutions for social and economic transformation notably, Girinka, Gacaca, Ubudehe, Abunzi, Itotero etc which have achieved invaluable breakthrough in the struggle for Rwanda’s progress.
The present one size fit prescriptions of the neoclassical economic ideas to Africa are not helpful. National dialogues provide inspirations, excitement to calmly and objectively discuss the imperatives of national concerns in the interplay of world forces.
Africa needs to study and evaluate with utmost care and quality the new ideas and policy regimes outside the mainstream approaches and dominant views. The rapidly evolving innovating world demands to be more creative and innovative in providing the right leadership determined by Africa culture and priorities to adequately to meet Africa’s economic and social development aspirations.
