Rwanda bourse regains activity

Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) index went up 1.65 points to close at 232.12 and All-Shares Index (ALSI) also went up 0.42 points to close at 136.17.

This comes after the bourse suffered low trading sessions as most of the week’s trading sessions were low and remained inactive.

Bank of Kigali (BK) counter closed at Rwf 300 (Rwf 300 previous). Trading session recorded a total turnover of 7,033,600 from 23,600 shares traded in 3 deals.

While the Bralirwa counter closed at Rwf 374 (Rwf 370 previous), trading session recorded a total turnover of Rwf 187,000 from 500 shares traded once. No transaction recorded on KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket Limited counters.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 33,600 BK shares between Rwf 298-310 and an outstanding bid of 1000 shares at Rwf 280.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 18,800 shares between Rwf 370-407 and no outstanding bids. On KCB counter there was an outstanding bid of 100 shares at Rwf 185 and no outstanding offers.

On USL there was an outstanding offer of 6,000 shares at Rwf 104 and no outstanding bids. On today’s RSE bond market; there was an outstanding bid of 500,000 at Rwf 100 and an outstanding offer of 100,000 at Rwf 102 from government bondsat Rwf100
