Rwanda bourse records slow activity

The Rwanda stock market index didn’t make any changes this Friday as the index and all shares closed at 146.89 and 130.61 respectively.

The day’s trading was slow as only equities changed hands while the bond market was quiet.

The Bank of Kigali counter closed at Frw 280 (Frw 280 previous). The trading session recorded a total turnover of Frw 310,576,000 from 1,109,200 shares traded in 6 deals.

The Equity bank, NMG, KCB, BRL, CTL and USL counters were quiet today and last closed at Frw 334, Frw 1, 200, Frw 330, Frw 174, Frw 99 and Frw 104 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 40,500 BK shares between Frw 280-300 and no bids.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 709,600 shares at Frw 174 and an outstanding bid of 23,000 shares at Frw 170.

On CTL counter, there were outstanding offers of 2,005,200 shares between Frw 99- 106 and an outstanding bid of 1,300 shares at Frw 95. On KCB counter there was an outstanding offer of 9,700 shares at Frw 340 and no bids.

On bond market, there were outstanding bids of Frw 50,300,000 worth of bonds at Frw 101 and no offers.
