Rwanda bourse records low performance at close of trade week

This week the Rwanda Stock Exchange market activity went down compared to the previous week’s trading session.

The total turnover for this week was Rwf61, 557,700 from 7,800 BoK shares, 323,700 Bralirwa and 100 USL shares traded in 31 deals compared to the last week’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 317,651,300 from 175,300 BoK shares and 582,2000 Bralirwa shares traded in 30 deals.

However, today the Rwanda Stock Exchange share index (RSI) recognized an increase of 0.40 points in regard to the last index and closed at 264.51.

Bralirwa shares traded and closed at Rwf 460 up compared to the last trading price, whereas BK shares traded and closed at Rwf290 remains constant in regarding to the last trading price.

The market registered a total turnover of Rwf2, 215,000 form 500 BK shares and 4,500 shares of Bralirwa traded in 4 deals In regard of the yesterday’s market transactions which recorded a total turnover of Rwf2, 386,900 from 600 Bralirwa and 7,300 BK shares traded in 8 deals.

On the other hand KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf185, Rwf1200 and Rwf175 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 198,600 BK shares between Rwf 288-315 and no outstanding bids. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 162,900 shares between Rwf 446-450 and outstanding offers of 5,300 shares between 457- 460.
