Rwanda bourse picks up pace

 

The Rwanda stock Exchange (RSE) share index (RSI) went up 0.40 points at 263.17.

The market recorded a total turnover of Rwf 25,342,800 from 55,100 shares of Bralirwa traded in seven deals in regard of the last market trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 47,434,400 from 92,800 shares of Bralirwa and 20,100 BK shares traded in 6 deals.

Bralirwa shares traded between Rwf 459-460 and went up Rwf 1 at Rwf 460 compared to the yesterday’s closing price, whereas BK counter remained silent and closed at Rwf 285, constant compare to the yesterday’s closing price.

Also KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 185, Rwf 1200 and Rwf 175 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 249,900 BK shares between Rwf 280-305 with no outstanding bids.

With the Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 20,200 shares at Rwf 460 and outstanding bids of 167,500 shares between Rwf 445-455.
