m_Rwanda bourse activities drop this week

The local bourse registered   a drop in its trading this week ending Friday compared to  last week’s  trading  with the total turnover   by end of trading hours on Friday  was  Rwf 45,502,600 from 133,800 shares traded in 23 deals.

This indicated a drop from last week’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 268,363,800 from 818,600 shares traded in 40 deals.

But for Friday’s trading session, the RSE share index (RSI) remained constant in comparison with yesterday’s trading session of 253.78.

The day’s total turnover for the day was Rwf 6,224,400 from 3,500 Bralirwa and 17,800 BK shares traded in 4 deals, compared to the last trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 10,799,500 from 2,200 Bralirwa and 37,200 BK shares traded in 4 deals.

By the end of the day  firday, the  BK counter traded between Rwf 260-265 and closed at Rwf 265, constant compare to the last closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded and closed at Rwf 450 constant compared to the yesterday’s closing price.

On the other hand KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 185; 1,200 and Rwf 175 respectively. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 56,300 BK shares between Rwf 255-263 and no outstanding offer.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 460,300 shares between Rwf 450-46o and no outstanding bid. Then on Uchumi Supermarket there was an outstanding bid of 3,000 shares at Rwf 92 and no an outstanding offer.
