Photos: Rwandans welcome RwandAir’s Airbus A330-200

Today, Wednesday Rwanda’s national carrier RwandAir, has finally acquired Airbus 330-200 to expand its flights across Africa, Asia and Europe.

After making a step a stopover at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda en-route from France finally touched Kigali international airport amid excitement from a huge audience which among others include diplomats and other officials.

The new aircraft, worth $250 million (about Rwf200 billion) brings the airline’s total fleet to nine with additional four planes expected to be delivered by end of February next year.

With 38 passengers on board, the Aircraft landed at Kigali International Airport at exactly 11 a.m. local time- bringing the RwandAir’s total fleet to nine.
