Nomination Process for the FERWAFA Executive Committee Starts on July 10

The FERWAFA Electoral Committee has announced the road map to the 2017 FERWAFA Executive Committee polls with the nomination process scheduled to start on July 10, 2017.

Adolphe Kalisa, the FERWAFA Electoral Committee Chairman has confirmed to Rwanda Eye that all hopeful candidates for the FERWAFA Executive Committee will start picking forms from Monday July 10 to 15th at FERWAFA head office.

“We have sent out guidelines to FERWAFA members on the modalities of the upcoming election process for the FERWAFA Executive Committee. We will starting on Monday, July 10 at 8am until July 15 at 11am, the scheduled closure time of picking forms,” said Kalisa.

Kalisa is assisted by Rukundo Eugene (Vice President) and Severin Ntivuguruzwa (Secretary General). Others members on the electoral committee include; Hakuzimana Sadji Corneille, Karinganire Ismael, Mvano Etienne and Nsabimana Jean de Dieu

The road map to the 2017 FERWAFA Executive Committee elections is as follows;

July 10-15, 2017: Picking and returning nomination forms

July 17-22, 2017: Scrutinizing candidates nomination files

July 24-29, 2017: Receiving petitions and hearing appeals if any

August 8, 2017: Declaration of Candidates

August 14-September 9, 2017: Campaigning period of declared candidates

September 10, 2017: Elections & Announcing the FERWAFA Executive Committee

September 15, 2017: The electoral committee will submit the polls report of the FERWAFA Executive Committee

The polls which will held on September 10, 2017 will lead to the election of FERWAFA President.
