The rising Bank of Kigali-BK   share price pushed the Rwanda Stock Exchange share index up 3.17 points closing at 257.17.The BK share price closed at Rwf 290 higher compared to yesterday’s trading session.

According to  Rwanda Stock exchange daily report, BK counter traded between Rwf 280-290 and closed at Rwf 290  which   is  Rwf 15 higher than  yesterday’s  closing price of   Rwf 275.

By end of trading hours on Wednesday,the Bralirwa counter recorded a low in price share that traded and closed at Rwf 442 down Rwf 2 compared to the yesterday’s closing price.

But the KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket counters remained silent with shares last transacted at Rwf 185, Rwf 1,200 and Rwf 104 respectively.

By end of trading session on Thursday, the local bourse had recorded a fall in total turnover for the day which went down Rwf 3,254,100 compared to yesterday’s trading session.

The total turnover   was Rwf 4,603,400 from 12,700 BK shares and 2,200Bralirwa shares traded in 7 deals, compared to the last trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 7,857,500from 22,300 BK shares and 4,000 Bralirwa shares traded in 8 deals.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 1,100 BK shares between Rwf 270-271 and outstanding offer of 10,000 shares at Rwf 290. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 450,200 shares between Rwf 442-455 and no outstanding bids.

The report also indicated on RSE bond market that there was an outstanding bid of 600,000 government bonds at Rwf 100.
