Local Bourse registers Rwf1.7 million in total turnovers

Local Bourse registers Rwf1

The local bourse on Monday recorded a total   turnover of Rwf 1,754,400 up Rwf 488,800 from Friday’s trading session that recorded Rwf 1,265,600.

At the close of trading hours on Monday, the total turnover for the day was Rwf 1,754,400 from 5,900 BK shares traded in 5 deals compared to Friday’s session that recorded a total turnover of Rwf 1,265,600 from 3,500 BK shares; 400 Bralirwa shares and 500 Uchumi Supermarket shares traded in 4 deals.

Whilst, the RSE share index (RSI) remained constant closing at 258.61 with both Bralirwa and Bank of Kigali-BK share prices remain constant.

At the  Bank of Kigali-BK counter the share  price  closed   at Rwf 300 after  trading  between Rwf 286-300 indicating no change from the previous  trading session  while Bralirwa counter was quiet and closed at Rwf 439 constant compared to the last closing price.

But KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket counters, shares were last transacted at Rwf185; Rwf 1,200 and Rwf 104 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there was an outstanding bid of 3,000 BK shares at Rwf 290 and outstanding offers of 33,200 shares between Rwf 300-320.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 482,000 shares between Rwf439-455 and an outstanding bid of 500 shares at Rwf 432. Then on Uchumi Supermarket counter there was an outstanding offer of 6,000 shares at Rwf 104 and no outstanding bids.

On the Rwanda Stock exchange- RSE bond market there was an outstanding bid of 600,000 government bonds at Rwf 100.
