Local bourse in a slow start

The Rwanda stock markets started off the trading week with less or no activity as the share index (RSI) and all shares indexes remained constant to close at 229.98 and 134.13 respectively.

The bank of Kigali (BK) counters closed at Rwf 290 (Rwf 290 previous) as the trading session recorded a total turnover of Rwf 748,500 from 2,600 shares traded in 4 deals.

While the Bralirwa counter closed at Rwf 370 (Rwf 370 previous). The trading session recorded a total turnover of Rwf 740,000 from 2,000 shares traded once. No transaction recorded on KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket Limited counters.

Closing bells at the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 222,300 BK shares between Rwf 290-310 and no outstanding bids.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 58,400 shares between Rwf350-370 and no outstanding offers. Today on RSE bond market; there was an outstanding bid of 500,000 bonds at Rwf100 and no outstanding offers from government bonds FXD.
