Kagame Promises More Goodies for Musanze

RPF Candidate Paul Kagame Rally in Musanze District

President Paul Kagame and RPF presidential flag bearer has today continued with his campaign tour in Musanze district.

The RPF presidential candidate Kagame has pledged to extend electricity connection in the mountainous district of Musanze.

While speaking at a rally in Musanze, President Kagame expressed disappointment over the absence of power in some areas which has affected development.

He said that electricity is a major component of development, pledging to ensure that electricity is extended to the remote areas of the district.

The candidate who was escorted by former Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremyi, promised to connect more people to electricity, tarmacking of various roads, schools and hospitals, urging them to give him seven more years to complete the numerous transformative plans and development programs.

Shortly, before his address, Kagame invited former Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremyi, who hails from the district, to address the crowd.

“We love you and when we say that we love you we mean it,” Habumuremyi said, as the crowd cheered on. “Musanze is RPF 100 per cent.”

Habumuremyi, who is also an RPF commissioner, urged Musanze residents to turn up in large numbers on August 4 to vote for the RPF’s candidate. “I have worked with Paul Kagame and he’s an extraordinary person.”

He is also the Chairman of the Chancellery for Heroes, National Orders and Decorations.
