Habineza Pledges to Scrap Land Tax

The Democratic Green Party of Rwanda (DGPR), presidential candidate for Frank Habineza, has said he will revise the current land-use policy.

Habineza was speaking during his the first day of the presidential campaigns at a rally in Rusizi District in western province

In Rusizi, a handful of supporters Dr. Frank Habineza said that his priority once elected president he will fight poverty, establish a law that will allow citizens to farm whatever they want and also remove taxes on land.

In his manifesto, Habineza mentioned once elected, he will increase the policemen and soldier’s salaries and also shelter them in modernized houses.

On top of that, Habineza assured Rusizi residents that more focus will be put in quality of education.
