Bralirwa raises Rwanda Bourse performance

The Rwanda Stock Exchange share index (RSI) went up 0.40 points to close at 264.49 generated from Bralirwa share price which closed at Rwf458.

The market recorded a total turnover of Rwf113, 600,400 from 249,300 Bralirwa shares and 500 BoK shares traded in nine deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf50, 647,200 from 170,000 BoK shares and 2,200 Bralirwa shares traded in seven deals.

Bralirwa shares traded 249,300 between Rwf 454-458 and closed at Rwf458, registering an increase of Rwf1 compared to the previous closing price whereas BoK counters traded 500 shares at Rwf293.

On the other hand, KCB, NMG, and Uchumi Supermarket’s shares last transacted at Rwf185, Rwf1200 and Rwf175 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 166,600 BoK shares between Rwf292-315 and no outstanding bids. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 28,000 shares between Rwf445-456 and outstanding offers of 12,000 shares at Rwf460.

On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 5,100 shares between Rwf175-180 and no outstanding offers. On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 7,200 shares at Rwf175 and no outstanding bids.
