Bralirwa shares push the Rwanda bourse up

The Rwanda Stock Exchange share index (RSI) went up 0.82 points to close at 264.49 and mainly pushed by the rising Bralirwa share price which closed at Rwf457.

The total turnover for the day was Rwf159, 512,700 from 544,100 BoK shares and 200 Bralirwa shares traded in three deals compared to the last Friday’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf32, 291,100 from 1,200 BoK shares and 70,200 Bralirwa shares traded in five deals.

Bralirwa shares traded and closed at Rwf 457, registering an increase of Rwf2 compared to the previous closing price whereas BoK counter traded and closed at Rwf 293, unchanged from last Friday’s closing price.

On the other hand KCB, NMG, and Uchumi Supermarket’s shares last transacted at Rwf185,  Rwf1200 and Rwf175 respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 110,900 BoK shares between Rwf293-315 and no outstanding bids.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 62,700 shares between Rwf445-455 and no outstanding offers.
