The Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) weekly activity remained low compared to the previous week’s trading session, despite an increase in Bralirwa and Bank of Kigali shares mid this week.
The total turnover for this week was Rwf92,585,200 from 174,400 BoK shares ; 90,300 Bralirwa shares and 200 USL shares traded in 28 deals compared to the last week’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf187,865,500 from 2,600 BoK shares and 417,046 Bralirwa shares traded in 22 deals.
The RSE share index (RSI) remained unchanged compared to the previous trading session of 265.27. The total turnover for the day was Rwf6, 500,800 from 14,400 Bralirwa shares traded in five deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf55, 888,700 from 173,400 BoK shares ; 9,800 Bralirwa shares and 200 USL shares traded in seven deals.
Bralirwa shares traded between Rwf450-461 and closed at Rwf455, unchanged from yesterday’s closing price whereas BoK counter was quiet with no shares recorded. On the other hand KCB, NMG, and Uchumi Supermarket’s shares last transacted at Rwf 185, Rwf1200 and Rwf175 respectively.
At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 583,100 BoK shares between Rwf 297-315 and outstanding bids of 10,700 shares at Rwf290.
On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding bids of 71,600 shares between Rwf 446-450 and outstanding offers of 2,300 shares at Rwf461.
On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 5,100 shares between Rwf175-180 and no outstanding offers. On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 7,000 shares at Rwf175 and no outstanding bids.
