Rwanda Stock Exchange bourse records slow business

Rwanda Stock Exchange bourseThis week the Rwanda Stock Exchange market activity was slightly lower compared to the previous week’s trading session.

The total turnover for this week was Rwf 235, 804,200 from 99,600 BoK shares and 237,500 Bralirwa shares traded in 26 deals compared to the last week’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 298, 736,300 from 705,300 BoK shares and 86,000 Bralirwa shares traded in 43 deals.

Today, the RSE market recorded a total turnover of Rwf 84, 667,300 from 8,600 BoK shares and 95,300 Bralirwa shares traded in nine deals compared to yesterday’s trading session which recorded 1,200 BoK shares and 12,300 Bralirwa shares that were valued at Rwf 10, 956,200 in four deals.

The RSE share index (RSI) remained at 259.59 Bralirwa shares traded and closed at Rwf 860, unchanged from yesterday’s closing price while BoK shares traded between Rwf 315-316 and closed at Rwf 316, unchanged from yesterday’s closing price.

On the other hand KCB, NMG, and Uchumi Supermarket’s shares last transacted at Rwf 185, Rwf 1200 and Rwf 175 respectively. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 272,500 BoK shares between Rwf 316-330 and no outstanding bids.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 26,400 shares at Rwf 890 and no outstanding bids. On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 5,100 shares between Rwf 175-180 and no outstanding offers. On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 7,300 shares at Rwf 175 and no outstanding bids.
