The Rwanda Stock Exchange share index (RSI) went up 1.31 points to close at 242.82 and mainly pushed by the rising BoK share price which closed at Rwf275.
The total turnover for the day was Rwf22,061,100 from 41,300 BoK shares and 13,100 Bralirwa shares traded in twelve deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf129,185,600 from 476,400 BoK shares and 700 Bralirwa shares traded in eleven deals.
BoK shares traded between Rwf265-275 and closed at Rwf275, registering an increase of Rwf 5 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf843-845 and closed at Rwf845, unchanged from yesterday’s closing price.KCB shares last transacted at Rwf185 while NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200 and Rwf175 respectively.
At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 54,100 BoK shares between Rwf265-270 and outstanding offers of 19,500 shares between Rwf275-285. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 34,900 shares between Rwf 850-890 and an outstanding bid of 50,000 shares at Rwf845.
On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 12,500 shares between Rwf170-180 and no outstanding offers. On NMG counter; there were outstanding bids of 1,000 shares at Rwf1,200 and no outstanding offers. On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 3,000 shares at Rwf 175 and no outstanding bids.
