The Rwanda Sock Exchange (RSE) share index (RSI) went up 1.32 points to close at 245.45 and mainly pushed by the rising Bank of Kigali (BoK) share price which closed at Rwf285.

The RSE bourse was on Monday, boosted by Bank of Kigali with a share index rise of up 1.11 points at 243.12 with share prices which closed at Rwf280.

Rwanda brewery and lemonade company (Bralirwa) also gave the bourse a push with 1.01 points up to close at 244.13 and with a share price which closed at Rwf845

Today on RSE, the market recorded 458,400 BoK shares ; 68,700 Bralirwa shares and 200 USL shares valued at Rwf179, 555,200 in 15 deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded 45,500 Bralirwa shares that were valued at Rwf38, 409,600 in eight deals.

Bralirwa shares traded between Rwf844-845 and closed at Rwf845, unchanged from yesterday’s closing price whereas BoK counter traded between Rwf264-285 and closed at Rwf285, registering an increase of Rwf 5 compared to yesterday’s closing price.

USL counter traded and closed at Rwf175, unchanged from yesterday’s closing price. KCB shares last transacted at Rwf185 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf1, 200.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 102,400 BoK shares between Rwf 255-263 and outstanding offers of 42,600 shares at Rwf285. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 34,900 shares between Rwf850-890 and outstanding bids of 100,500 shares between Rwf838-845.

On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 12,500 shares between Rwf 170-180 and no outstanding offers. On NMG counter; there were outstanding bids of 2,000 shares between Rwf 1,200-1320 and no outstanding offers.

On USL counter; there was an outstanding offer of 1,000 shares at Rwf175 and no outstanding bids.
