Rwanda Stock Exchange bourse recovers

The Rwanda Stock Exchange share index (RSI) went up 1.71 points to close at 235.25 and mainly pushed by the rising the two stock giants Bralirwa and Bank of Kigali {BoK} share prices which closed at Rwf 840 and Rwf 250 respectively.

The market recorded 5, 250,700 BoK shares; 416,400 Bralirwa shares and 1,000 USL shares valued at Rwf 1, 641,627,400 in twelve deals compared to the previous trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 276,083,700 from 159,300 BoK shares and 282,900 Bralirwa shares traded in five deals.

BoK shares traded between Rwf 246-250 and closed at Rwf 250, registering an increase of Rwf 5 compared to yesterday’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf 840-841 and closed at Rwf 840, registering an increase of Rwf 2 compared to yesterday’s closing price.

USL counter traded and closed at Rwf 175, unchanged from previous’ closing price .KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 185 while NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 10,000 BoK shares at Rwf 250 and outstanding bids of 6,646,300 shares between Rwf 230-240.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 50,700 shares between Rwf 844-890 and no outstanding bids.

On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 12,400 shares between Rwf 175-180 and no outstanding offers. On NMG counter; there was an outstanding bid of 1,000 shares at Rwf 1,200 and no outstanding offers.
