Bralirwa performs well as RSE shares drop

The Rwanda stock market index went up 0.38 points to close at 208.94 and all shares indexes went up 0.05 points to close at 143.79.

The Bralirwa counter had a better performance overall as other shares remained constant. Bralirwa closed at Frw 333(Frw 332 previous) and the trading session recorded a total turnover of Frw 732,600 from 2,200 shares traded twice.

The Crystal telecom, The Bank of Kigali shares remained constant to close at Frw 112 with a total and Frw 280 respectively while the Equity counters remained quiet.

The Crystal telecom registered a total turnover of Frw 232,707,500 from 2,212,900 shares traded in 13 deals while the Bank of Kigali session recorded a total turnover of Frw 28,000 from 100 shares traded once and Equity recorded a total turnover of Frw 334,000 from 1,000 shares traded once.

There was no transaction recorded on NMG, KCB and USL counters.   At the end of formal trading hours, there are outstanding offers of 1,356,200 BK shares between Frw 280-305 and an outstanding bid of 2,000 at Frw 274.

On Bralirwa counter, there are outstanding offers of 647,800 shares between Frw 333-365 and no bids. On CTL counter there are outstanding offer 200,000 at Frw 123 and outstanding bids of 169,100 shares between Frw 105-108.

Today on RSE bond market there are outstanding offers of 2,000,000 for government bonds FXD 4/2014/7yrs at Frw 106 and an outstanding bid of 2,000,000 at Frw 99.5.
