Bralirwa counter sheds off Rwf 2

 

The Bralirwa counter started   the week on Monday shedding off rwf 2 on its share price to rwf 443 down from Rwf 445 it registered on Friday causing a drop in the RSE share index.

The share index went down 0.81 points to close at 254.92 by the end of trading hours on Monday.

Accordingly, Bralirwa counter traded between Rwf 443-445 to close at rwf 443 while the Bank of Kigali counter traded at Rwf 280 remaining constant from the previous trading on Friday.

Meanwhile; KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 185, Rwf 1,200 and Rwf 104 respectively.

The local bourse also recorded high in the total turnover as it was recorded at Rwf 3,959,000 from 8,900 Bralirwa shares traded in 4 deals by the end of the formal trading hours on Monday.

This is a high of Rwf 3,427,000 compared to the Rwf compared to Rwf 532,000 recorded on Friday from 1,900 BK shares traded in 1 deal.

By the end of trading   hours on Monday, there were outstanding bids of 110,100 BK shares between Rwf 260-275 and outstanding offers of 12,700 shares between Rwf 280-285.

On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 449,300 shares between Rwf 443-455 and no outstanding bids, while Uchumi Supermarket counters; there was an outstanding offer of 6,600 shares at Rwf 104 and no outstanding bids.

On the other hand of the Rwanda Stock exchange bond market that recently saw a boost of new bonds that were oversubscribed, there was an outstanding bid of 600,000 government bonds at Rwf 100.
