The Bank of Kigali counter gained Rwf4 to close at Rwf284 yesterday, an increase from Rwf280 during the previous session on Friday, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report indicates.

The counter recorded a total turnover of Rwf93.02 million from 332,100 shares traded in two deals, the report showed.  Bralirwa and all the cross-listed counters were quiet yesterday. Bralirwa closed at Rwf340, unchanged compared to the last trading session.

Equity Bank Group was at Rwf334, also unchanged from last week’s closing share price. The regional lender recorded a total turnover of Rwf334, 000 from 1,000 shares traded in one deal on Friday.

NMG, KCB and USL counters have not recorded transactions for months.

The RSE Share Index went up by 1.06 points to close at 215.05 points, while the All Share Index increased minimally by 0.13 points to close at 144.64, all driven by Bank of Kigali performance.
