BK and Braliwa shares boost local bourse

Both the Rwanda stock Index (RSI) and all shares index (ALSI) went up 1.38 and 0.17 point then closed at 129.45 and 128.44 respectively.

Bank of Kigali and Bralirwa experienced a fair exchange as their shares increased on the local bourse as both equities and bond markets changed hands.

Bank of Kigali counter closed at Frw 268 (Frw 264 previous) and the trading session recorded a total turnover of Frw 845,600 from 3,200 shares traded in 2 deals.

Bralirwa counter closed at Frw 144(Frw 143 previous) while the trading session recorded a total turnover of Frw 288,000 from 2,000 shares traded in 1 deal.

Crystal Telecom counter has a slow down as it closed at Frw 70 (Frw 70 previous). The trading session recorded a total turnover of Frw 770,000 from 11,000 shares traded in 1 deal.

The equities counters closed as follows:  EQTY:  Frw 334; NMG:  Frw 1200; KCB: Frw 330; and USL: Frw 104.

On bond market Frw 500,000 worth of bonds traded at Frw 100.6 in one deal.

At the end of the formal trading hours, on BK counter there were outstanding offers of 2,509,000 shares between Frw 268-280 and no bids.

On BLR counter there were outstanding offers of 7,300 shares at Frw144 and an outstanding bid of 200shares at Frw140.

On CTL counter, there were outstanding offers of 257,200 shares between Frw 70-77and no bids.

On the bond market, there were outstanding offers of Frw 26,500,000 worth of bonds  between  Frw  105-106  and  outstanding  bids  of  71,500,000  worth  of bonds between Frw 100.1-104.
